hours
open daily from eight in the morning until late. the kitchen stays on as long as the deck does. exact hours to confirm.
walking in
always welcome. reserve for tables on the sand, groups over eight, and event days.
what to wear
swimwear on the sand, a shirt and shoes in the restaurant.
finding us
playa el médano, about fifteen minutes on foot from the marina. taxis and rideshare drop at the beach entrance. by boat, anchor off the deck.
paying
cash and cards. the per person reservation on busy dates comes back to you as food and drinks.

our story
thirty years on this sand
our family put a few chairs on an empty piece of médano and started selling cold beer to whoever walked past. a couple of hurricanes and a great many margaritas later it is still the family running it, and still the first place open on the beach every morning.

do we need a reservation?
no. walk in. reserve if you want a table on the sand, you are a group, or it is an event day.
is the per person amount a cover?
no. it holds your table and comes back as food and drinks.
are kids welcome?
yes, and at lunch there are usually plenty.
can we bring the dog?
the beach is dog friendly and half our regulars bring theirs. ask about the shaded tables.
do you do private events?
yes, from a few tables to the whole place. see groups and events.
